Things I get asked.
Aren’t you more expensive than template builders?
Yes — and you’re paying for something different. Templates are cheap because they’re optimised for everyone, which is to say no one. The retainer earns its keep in the months when something actually needs to change.
What happens if I want to leave?
You walk. Code, data, and every client-facing service are already in your name. The extract tool ships with every build and is tested before launch. Leaving is a button, not a migration.
I don’t understand the technical side. Is that a problem?
No. The technical side is mine to look after. That’s what the retainer pays for. The monthly summary is plain English. Office hours cover anything else.
Can’t I just use a freelancer?
You can. A freelancer builds; SPAN LAB also scopes and actively manages. The scoping is free; the management is what stops the site rotting in year two.
